In our research we combine high performance materials, modern manufacturing techniques and advanced computational methods to create the next generation of novel multifunctional structural mechanisms. Driven by theoretical and numerical models we harvest nonlinearities at material and structural level to craft mechanical systems with exceptional properties.
Dr. Aghna Mukherjee joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
